I've been part of the international rubber community for over ten years – in different countries, cities, and contexts. Growing up in rural Germany, I learned early on to adapt and hold back. Through rubber, I learned something different: to show myself. Not as a role, but as myself.
Rubber is far more than a fetish or an aesthetic for me. Latex is a second skin – honest, present, and sometimes uncomfortable. Showing yourself in rubber also means being vulnerable and accepting your own body as it is. That feeling of "I am here, I'm allowed to be here, and I belong" is something I still connect with the rubber community to this day. It was and remains a safe space for me, a place of friendship, support, and mutual responsibility.
I've been living in Berlin for four years, and the fact that there is finally a Mister Rubber title here just feels right. I'm applying because I want to carry these experiences forward visibly. Not loudly and not perfectly, but present, responsible, and with a genuine connection to the scene. Kink is part of who we are – and who we will be. Rubber makes visible what sustains us: self-acceptance, consent, and community.
